  • Roses can be put in the ground right now and EJC has 100s of possible choices,  from shrub roses to Knockouts to hybrid tea roses and everything in between.
  • Be sure to pick up some Daddy Pete’s Composted Cow Manure to counteract our heavy clay East TN soil.
  • In heavy rocky or shale type soil conditions, you can also blend in some Garden Magic Sandy Loam topsoil with the manure.
  • Protect your new roses with  Bayer All-In-One Rose Care to fight aphids and other rose-loving pests.  The same product also fertilizes the flowers, and even helps fight Black Spot – the number one disease to which roses succumb.  And here’s a bonus – it isn’t strictly for roses only.  All of your flowers will benefit from this multi-purpose easy-to-apply water-in product.
