Celebrate the Start of the Growing Season at our Forsythia Festival!
We’re all ready for spring to arrive and nothing heralds its upcoming arrival like the Forsythia Festival! You and your family will enjoy live music from 10:30-2:30 while you shop for super spring savings, play games, register for free prizes, enjoy free refreshments, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow gardeners and enthusiasts.
Saturday March 24 from 10am-3pm, we will be giving away free forsythia bushes every single hour and free door prizes, including three $25 gift certificates! There’ll be a scavenger hunt, a coloring table and face-painting set up for the kids, plus they can also plant their own spring pansy to take home. Our refreshments will include our annual Forsythia Cake (you don’t want to miss it, it’s delicious!), popcorn and lemonade, all for free! For heartier fare, Let’s Taco ‘Bout It will be here selling food from their food truck.
There will be special one-day-only savings throughout the garden center and the Tree & Shrub Department and at 10:30, we’re hosting a free seminar! The topic is Spring Flowering Trees & Shrubs (including forsythia, of course) and how to successfully grow them for decades of enjoyment!
