Birdbaths in Winter

Q: I keep having to break the ice on my birdbath.  When I forget, I’m afraid they’ll go thirsty.  Any ideas?

Absolutely!  We’re glad you asked because it gives us a chance to remind ALL of our friends to smash up that ice frequently.  That water is a necessity and their little beaks usually can’t break through the ice without help.
If you don’t want to take a chance on forgetting, come take a look at our Allied De-Icers. It is a neat gadget that plugs into any standard outlet and warms the water. Just turn it on when the temperature drops!  Granted the birds won’t be able to ice skate anymore, but at least they’ll be well hydrated!
